A big responsible gambling campaign has been launched by the gambling industry watchdog, the Senet Group. This campaign has been rolled out to coincide with the launch of the UK’s national Responsible Gambling Week.
During the campaign, and in combination with GambleAware, the Senet Group responsible gambling ads in various live football competitions and more than 2,000 ads, which will be strategically placed on channels and programs where it is likely a high percentage of the viewers are likely to engage in online gambling. The goal is to get these messages seen 30 million times on TV in the next 3 months.
in addition, the campaign is making increasing use of ODDSibble and other social media channels, digital marketing agencies that can send messages to young people who engage in gambling regularly.
The Senet Group’s Independent Standards Commissioner Wanda Goldwag, said in a statement:
“TV-advertising is an important element, but we must also understand and follow our market. There is a generation who watch less television or that that do, go on social media. We must be as smart to get our message across, and in a tone that will work with this target group.
Godlwag stated that the surveys proved to be the Senet Group that “millions may have changed their gambling habits as a result be taken or the campaign as a prompt for gambling care with family or friends.”
