During the cleaning of a number of things, I realized that omigosh I actually still have a number of Christmas scratch cards of that christmas card collection I have.
So oh heck – why no scratches on all 3 at once?
Here are the 3 remaining cards from the Christmas gift pack:
We have Peppermint 7s, Stocking Stuffer and….CROSSWORD puzzle.
of course – Crossword’t exactly christmas related. But there’s a reason for this: if you pay $ 10 for the Christmas selection pack of scratch cards, you will get a $ 3 crossword. Pretty sweet deal, because it’s like you’re only spending $ 7.
So let’s start with the christmas related oes.
Peppermint 7s first:
Very simple – scratch the entire area and find 3 matching dollar amounts and win that amount.
So let’s scratch half of them:
Not a good start. We only got ONE of everything haha. In principle, the worst possible start you could get. I see $ 1 in there – I think that these cards have a value of $ 1, but I really don’t want to win and the trip to the store JUST for a dollar.
Let’s scratches on the rest. We get a $ 7 immediately, and a $ 15. That’s two of them. A $ 10,000 to $ 3 and $ 3. All we need is a $ 7, $ 15 or $ 3 on the last scratch, and we’ve won money….
$ 10,000. Sigh.
On the Stocking Stuffer scratch card following. Here’s how it looks like:
We have 3 different games. Same deal on the top one – match 3 prize amounts. Game 2 scratches on the stockings and if you get 3 same symbols you win the prize. Then $ 5 extra if you get three of the same symbols.
We still have 2 $ 3 and 2 $ 35,000 but that was it. Need that 3rd one to win. Oh well.
At the three stockings:
And nothing there unfortunately. Two sleigh rides, a tree. Someone has NO scratches on the amount of the price? Imagine scratching on all three of the symbols, getting excited as hell crabs the method of payment and seeing you won the money? Yes no thank you.
$ 5 additional information:
No luck but oh well – a fun and easy. That’s two twigs and a snowflake.
Now on the last – the Crossword:
As you can see – this is already a kind of scratching, due to the fact that it is so old. SO what I’m going to do is scratch all the letters, and go through each word and see if I won. You only need 2 words to win a prize.
So here it is scratched:
Now to go through the words and see if I got one of the letters:
HOLIDAY = No. What is needed is a ‘N’.
ODE = No. Needed an E.
HALOGEN = No. What is needed is a L, E and N.
the JOKE = No. Needed an E.
ROPE = No. Needed W, N and E.
DRUM = YES! YES! YES! Only one word needed to be a winner winner chicken dinner.
SOLO =No. Need a L.
QUESTION = YES! YES! YES! WE WIN. 2 Words = $ 3. 3 words = $ 5. Let’s for that elusive 3rd word.
CONSERVATIVE = YES! YES! YES! 3 words = $ 5, we got it. Okay, so now 4 words for $ 10.
OBJECT = No. Needed an E.
VERSE = No. Needed an E.
UNLOCK = No. Needed an N and an L.
LURE = No. Need an L and an E.
BYTE = No. Needed an E.
GENERATOR = No. Needed an E.
the INN = No. What is needed is a ‘N’.
MESSY = No. Needed an E.
Still, that’s not bad – 3 words, $ 5. I’m good on this Christmas Gift Pack yay.
I’ll have to go spend these cards on some more. I’ll ask in the shop or over the Christmas time!
